Challenges in this sport and our solutions:
Unfortunately wakeboarding faces extreme challenges in its potential for growth. Not everyone has access to a boat, an experienced driver, calm water, proper equipment, and a flexible schedule to ride with their friends. These factors limit the amount of time one can spend on the water each summer and lets face it, we have a short summer here in Ontario. How is a rider able to progress with all these limitations?
The idea behind the school is that anyone can come ride, we will supply everything and they can come at anytime. All you need to bring with you is a positive attitude and the hunger to learn. No more waiting for your friends, no more worrying about who has the wakeboard gear, who's going to drive the boat, is the water calm, etc...Just come down to the school and ride!

Phat Wakes Wakeboarding School works hard to provide a service unparallel to others in this industry. We have extraordinary staff and all coaches are fully certified with St. Johns Emergency First Aid Certification & Ontario Water Ski Association 3M Level One, National Coaching Certification. We are a recognized wakeboarding and water skiing school with the "Ontario Water Ski Association".the "Water Ski Wakeboard Canada" and have active memberships within these organizations. Once again we are committed to providing a safe, educational, and enjoyable wakeboarding experience for people of all ages and abilities.
